For
an
orchard(s) where there is
more space between the
trees,
wheeled robots would be possible. Using six or more wheels would
increase the amount of area that makes contact with the ground and
therefore redue the amount of damage they would inflict upon the
ground. Also provides more stability by having more contact with the
ground. Aided by allowing the wheels to raise or lower themselves to
provide a leveling effect. On the other hand, having wheels here
trampling on ground
plants might not be such a bad thing.

counter balancing mechanisms to reduce power requirements, and some
solar cells for additional power.
